A piano shell is an enclosure for your digital piano or keyboard. Mobility is our primary focus and beauty clearly matters. This is the most realistic facsimile of a grand piano available. Sizes range from compact all the way to full size concert grand.
Every Keyhole piano shell can be assembled without assistance or tools. The legs each attach by hand with two wing bolts.  Lids are removable. Soft-sided cases that roll or road/flight cases for heavy use are available. Load-in and out is fast and setup is simple.

choose your size

Our smallest 30-inch 'KeyWee' can fit on small stages and doesn't seem out of place in studio apartments. It takes up hardly more space than an X-stand but maintains all the curves of a grand piano.
Our largest standard size is 7 feet long! It has the same impressive footprint as any full size acoustic baby grand piano. Regardless of this, it can be transported and assembled by one person.

The piano shell market was sparked by the desire for portability. The Keyhole design is centered around this desire.
Assembly is simple and easy. Two wing bolts for each leg. For most models, everything stores inside. Don't leave anything behind again.

Customize

There's only one of you. Make your piano just as unique. Red, white and black high pressure laminate are our standard finishes but there are many others available. Music stands can be engraved. Add wood or brass trim or highlights. Decals can be applied. Specialized back-lighting is easy. Our art and design department can do most of the work in-house.
Accessories make life easier, especially those that work with the Keyhole's trademark accessory mounting system. Microphone booms and devices can be mounted within reach and with confidence. Route cabling through the shell and eliminate tipping stands and tripping hazards. Other compatible items include a mounting pad for a drum machine or other similar device, cup holder, spotlight, personal monitor and many others.
Upgrade the interior to look as good as the exterior. Choose the Keymaster package for all the important extras or decide which individual components matter most. Each component can be purchased separately, but the Keymaster package brings together a lid and rim that is finished to match on the underside, as well as a pedal lyre to keep your pedal in place, and a music stand for your books or tablet. The crowning visual effect is the interior suspended panel. This insert comes standard with a bamboo veneer but many other options are available.
