Our fabrication engine looks up the maximum internal shelf width of your chosen piano shell model and applies a standard 0.125″ (1/8 inch) clearance safety margin to prevent internal scuffing. The remaining space determines the exact thickness of your 3D-printed spacer shims:

• Gaps Over 1 Inch: The workshop automatically splits your spacer thickness evenly by two. We print a Symmetrical Split Set (matching left and right blocks) to cradle your instrument and center your keys perfectly.

• Gaps Under 1 Inch: The system designates a Single Lateral Shim block to securely lock your keyboard controller assembly against the shelf wall.
