​Everyone knows Keyhole pianos are beautiful on the outside. Did you know that the inside can be just as amazing? Various upgrade choices are available. Most upgrades include a - unique to us - customizable panel that hovers just below the laminated rim. A bamboo veneer is typical and does a nice job simulating piano harp strings. Especially when mirrored by the matching laminated underside of the lid.
We offer each product individually or you may choose from upgrade packages that bring together popular options or provide certain effects.
Hovering Panel
This is a trademark Keyhole design. Beautifully hide the interior of your Keyhole shell. Perfect for performers that want to have the interior of their piano hidden with the lid open.
With our recommended bamboo veneer, the grain simulates the strings of an acoustic piano harp. The panel comes with hardware that allows you to choose between it staying put or lifting out for easy access to the inside of the piano.

Have holes or other shapes cut into the panel for speaker grills or logos. Plan for backlighting or a fog or bubble machine. This is your moment to shine! Give us your unique design ideas for your creation.
Finishing Touches
Additional surfaces also can be laminated or finished differently. Either al-a-carte or as part of a package. Finishing the rim around the hovering panel and the underside of the lid gives the perfect reflection of the surface below.
Lid Prop
Our standard lid prop is solid wood, perfectly tapered, and available in two lengths. Painted to match.
